Green Economy Speakers Bureau
The Green Economy Speakers Bureau is an effort by SBN and the GETF to help de-mystify green-collar jobs and provide tangible examples of the green economy “all-stars” that live and work right here in Philadelphia. The “Green Jobs Ambassadors” who make up the Speakers Bureau work to educate people about green-collar jobs and show that anyone is capable of having a green-collar job. From energy auditors to solar panel installers, the Speakers Bureau covers a breadth of different careers from SBN’s five green economy sectors (Clean energy, energy efficiency, environmentally friendly production, conservation and pollution mitigation, and environmentally friendly transportation), and shows the wide variety and diversity of opportunities available in the green economy.
